Effective leadership under the conditions of globalization of international transportation

The article examines the features of effective leadership under the conditions of globalization of international transportation. Current trends in the development of the international transport and logistics industry are analyzed, and the key challenges arising from globalization processes, digitalization, increasing competition, and geopolitical instability are identified. The role of leadership as an important factor in ensuring effective management of international transport companies and maintaining their competitiveness in the global market is substantiated. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of modern leadership styles, including transformational and adaptive leadership, which contribute to improving the effectiveness of managerial decision-making, personnel development, and the adaptation of enterprises to changes in the external environment. The main leadership competencies necessary for the successful functioning of transport enterprises in the international environment are determined. The study concludes that there is a need to implement innovative management approaches and develop leadership potential within the system of international transportation.
